Eric Zeller is an up and coming freelance drummer, composer, and educator currently splitting time between Edmonton and New York City. In 2022, Eric moved to New York to pursue a graduate degree at the Manhattan School of Music. As a result, Eric has played with Mike Moreno, Dayna Stephens, and Alex Hoffman. In Edmonton, he has played with Kent Sangster, Jerrold Dubyk, P.J. Perry, and Chris Andrew among others. Residing in Edmonton currently, he finds himself working on new music and playing across the city.

Eric brings energy, vitality, and spontaneity to the stage at Paper Birch Books, along with his bandmates Jacob Do (tenor saxophone) and Jack MacDonald (upright bass).

Ben Caufield is a drummer, composer, and recording engineer based out of Edmonton. He plays a variety of styles moving from modern jazz to post-hardcore, influenced by the likes of Avishai Cohen, Tarek Yamani, Basement, and Title Fight. A fit for the performance major at MacEwan University, he graduated having had the chance to perform and study abroad in Helsinki, Finland, studying with the legendary Finnish drummer Tommi Rautiainen. Beyond playing, Ben works as an aspiring recording engineer locally, having recorded both at Riverdale Recorders and Cold Weather Studios.

Ben brings a fresh set of original music to the stage, and is eternally grateful to be playing with  Nathan Cedeño (tenor saxophone), Stephanie Urquhart (piano/keyboard), and Andreas Wegner (upright bass).
