Bree Taylor (she/her) is a queer writer and poet living on Treaty 6 territory. She earned her BA from the University of Alberta in 2023, where she won the L. June Kelly Prize in Introductory Poetry. Her poetry has appeared in, among others, Funicular Magazine and How To Get A Thigh Gap, a chapbook she co-authored with former Edmonton Poet Laureate Nisha Patel. She was a finalist for the Dell Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing in 2022 for her story “Our Own Image,” which was published with Quagmire Magazine.
